We are excited to announce that Kings Point Pool has been awarded a 10K Large Community Improvement Grant by the City of Centennial! This is a huge win for our little pool!!

WHAT WILL THE $ BE USED FOR?

These City of Centennial grant funds are specifically meant for use to improve the neighborhood and community for all residents. Our submitted & approved plan is to focus on the garden and parking lot areas of the KPP property to make it more beautiful, pedestrian friendly, water-wise, and overall more enjoyable & inviting for all!

The upgrades will include benches, native drought - tolerant plants, pollinator friendly garden, stone & pavers, and more. We will be sourcing as much from local businesses as possible, as we want the money to go back into our own community.

AN EXTRA BIG THANK YOU TO JULIE

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Julie Rea, who wrote the grant submission. A member since 2019, Julie donated her expertise in grant writing and took the time to compose a winning submission on behalf of Kings Point Pool. Three cheers for Julie!

Also, we give a shout-out to Heidi Tingy: the awesome KPP member who initially brought the grant opportunity to our attention. Thank you!

CELEBRATIONS ARE IN ORDER!

Look for future updates on the plans and volunteer opportunities to help carry out the improvement upgrades. BUT FIRST, we should celebrate this amazing win! We will cheers during an upcoming weekend... when we have a day and time planned, we'll notify everyone.
