The annual KPP Kid Boat Races return Sunday, September 6, 2026
at 11 a.m. at Kings Point Pool
This favorite KPP tradition gives kids a chance to get creative, use a little ingenuity, and embrace their competitive spirit in the pool.

Entry is free, the event is open to the public, and registration is required.
Bring your best boat design, your cheering section, and a healthy sense of humor. Whether your boat is built for speed, style, or simply making it farther than expected, this is always one of the most fun events of the season.
DESIGN YOUR BOAT & START BUILDING
Race categories available for both 1-person boat or 2-person boat. Get creative, get building, and get ready to race! Extra points for creativity and fun :)
BOAT RULES
Make sure to follow the boat design and race rules to be eligible for race day! Your vessel may only be constructed out of cardboard, duct tape, and ONE pool noodle (optional).
NO paint, glues, styrofoam or sealants are permitted! Play fair, and please read the rules to keep it fun for everyone!
