BUILDING COMMUNITY, ONE SPLASH AT A TIME

Kings Point Pool (KPP) has been a cornerstone of the Centennial community since its establishment in 1964.Ā As a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, KPP is more than just a place to swim—it's a gathering spot where neighbors become friends and memories are made.Ā Our mission is to provide health and wellness opportunities to all by offering a wide variety of free activities, while fostering a strong, positive community that connects people of all ages.Ā

The heart of KPP lies in its dedicated volunteers who ensure the pool remains a vibrant hub for the community.Ā Amber Smith, a volunteer board member since 2021, shares, "Kings Point is the heartbeat of our neighborhood; it's where neighbors become friends and memories are made. When our

family moved into the neighborhood, we were welcomed with open arms. Volunteering on the board here has allowed me to give back to a community that gave so much to us."

For newcomers like Ben Pickel, who moved to the neighborhood in 2024, KPP offers an immediate sense of belonging.Ā "Attending the New Members Brunch was a turning point for me," Ben recalls.Ā "I met so many wonderful people and felt an immediate sense of belonging. It inspired me to get involved, and I'm now serving as the volunteer Vice President. It's incredible how KPP brings people together."

Long-standing members like Casey Batt, who has been the volunteer president for four years and a resident since 2014, have witnessed the growth and evolution of KPP firsthand.Ā "Over the years, I've seen KPP grow into a vibrant hub of community activity," Casey remarks.Ā "It's the collective effort of our volunteers and members that makes this place special. Every event, every gathering reinforces the strong bonds we share."

KPP's commitment to community is evident in its diverse range of events and activities.Ā From volleyball tournaments and ice cream socials to movie nights and chili cook-offs, there's something for everyone.Ā The pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but our community events happen all year round.Ā

Yes we invite you to brunch, but we also invite you to become a part of our vibrant community.Ā Whether you're interested in swimming, volunteering, or simply connecting with neighbors, Kings Point Pool offers a welcoming environment for all.Ā Join us and experience the sense of belonging that defines KPP.
