2025 Board of Directors: JOIN OUR AMAZING TEAM AND BE A CHAMPION FOR THE COMMUNITY

We are looking for great people to join the Kings Point Recreation Center volunteer Board of Directors and Committee team for 2025. KPP needs a wide variety of skills, ideas (and passion!) to support the mission and goals of our nonprofit community organization.

THERE ARE IMPORTANT ROLES OPEN! Please consider volunteering by joining the board. We meet monthly, and partner together to improve our small-yet-wonderful organization. Read below for more information on open board positions.

KEY ROLES

1. Marketing Lead: Responsible for a variety of Marketing & Communications tasks including weekly digital newsletter creation & distribution, website updates, promotion of events on website & flyers at KPP, etc. We love new ideas of how we can better market to the community.

2. Lifeguard Coordinator:  Responsible for hiring a team of great lifeguards. Ensuring proper scheduling, in-service trainings, and addressing incident reports. Without Lifeguards, KPP can't be open for all of the amazing hours... This role is so important to ensure KPP has an awesome and supported lifeguard team.

   ADDITIONAL COMMITTEE ROLES

3. Rentals Management: Responsible for managing rental aspect of KPP including being the liaison for those renting for parties, tracking income, and increasing our reach.

4. Registration Management: New Position! Help KPP manage registration including tracking of submissions & payments, new members, outreach, and helping to identify with opportunities to increase our reach.

5. Volunteer Coordinator: New Position! As a volunteer-run organization, this position is important and will help coordinate volunteers where needed for events, and special community efforts.
